Shrines

One of the enduring memories of the Lockdown will be the amazing outpouring of creativity fuelled by instagram but also by community. From co-ordinated zooms of opera, musicals,, dance to the brilliantly funny memes to the little household displays of solidarity and love for the NHS that have sprung up all over the place.  This is one of several in the village and I love that the effigy of the nurse is wearing some quite nice child sized trainers that must have been sacrificed for the cause. 

Walked in Hen Wood, dodging only a few other walkers; hearing voices through trees and being evasive made us feel as if we were in a Shakespearean woodland comedy.
