Life Saving Practice

The Coast Guard Helicopter & Boat were practicing some kind of maneuver near the mouth of Tillamook Bay. It was fascinating watching them; they seemed to be dropping a rescue basket to the boat and then back up again. We were not very close so we couldn't see very well, we were sitting on the side of Hwy 101 near Barview. The photo is rubbish because it was almost dark, but I wanted it in my Blip Journal. We had gone down there to get a sunset photo but the low clouds over the ocean prevented and color.

So, Yes, we did drive back over to the beach house; it is a beautiful day over here. We got busy doing some yard work because those pests, the weeds, keep coming back AND the bushes keep growing so that they need to be pruned. Now it is done so tomorrow might be a day of rest.
