Socially Distanced Fun
Lockdown Day 45
I worked until 1pm, had lunch with Alan and then waited for Ben to call to do my virtual consultation. He'd said he didn't know what time it would be as he was in surgery and it was a bit frustrating as it was a lovely afternoon, but obviously I couldn't go out for a walk. At 3.30pm I decided to go in the hot tub, and thought it would be typical if he called me then but luckily he didn't.
By 5pm when Alan finished work, Ben still hadn't called so I gave up waiting and we took the boys out for a walk. Yes, you got it, about 10 minutes after we left home, he FaceTimed me! He was very apologetic and said he'd only just got free, but he said not to worry, he'll call tomorrow and we've arranged it for 2pm.
We carried on with our walk and spotted a few people on the beach, there weren't many and everyone was very socially distanced which is good. It was a very low tide, and these kids seemed to be enjoying themselves whilst keeping a reasonable distance from each other, although I think there were actually from the same family.
After dinner I had a zoom chat with my Skies friends - it was nice to see them all and have a catch up and now it's 11pm and I'm off to bed. I'll catch up with you tomorrow.
