Muttontown Viaduct
This is now part of the Central Otago Cycle Rail Trail and is used ALL the time, especially now when we have to stay close to home and keep exercising. Walkers and cyclists are on it all the time. No one goes underneath it though. The trains from Dunedin to Cromwell used to rumble and chuff over this and several other viaducts through the mountains and gullys. We live really close to this viaduct.
In lockdown Peter has been going through lots of old slides. He is going to get some printed. I bet he has one of this steam train which I'll add to this down the track - so to speak.
