Grampy's walk

It seems that everytime I go outside this week it rains. Didn't prevent me taking a stroll whole visiting Nan up the Bwl. Did part of my grandfather's regular walk. I vaguely remember him taking me a few times when I was very young.

Apparently, he had the same route everytime. My nan maintains you could set your watch by him.
On one occasion he was needed and Nan went in search of him. She headed up the lane in the general direction he took hoping to catch him en route. Nan asked a neighbour, who was standing outside her house "have you seen Jim?". The woman looked at her watch and said "you're a bit early for him, he's not due to pass for another 5 minutes".
Regular as clockwork!

After spending most of his waking hours down the pit, those strolls were probably like heaven.
