Doorway

Around the back door, the mortar between bricks and doorframe had, at some point, been repaired with cement which was now falling out. So repaired it with mortar. But, in doing this, I’d blocked up a little hole that was a wasps’ front door. There was a heartbreaking procession of confused-looking wasps turning up. So I dug out a new hole for them.
