Strawberries

A new venture this year - I am trying growing strawberries for the first time. I ordered some plants about a month ago and they finally turned up today, looking a bit dry and sad but good strong roots so after a soak I potted them up.
They are a French variety ‘Mara des Bois’ which are supposed to be delicious! I have covered them with fleece tonight as they are threatening a very cold night.
Everything is a bit of a struggle at the moment isn’t it!
Also first House Martins overhead today, at last.
