Blood Tests

I have had my little blood test kit sat in quarantine for a while (mainly as an excuse not to do it). Today I womaned up and got it out of the pack. It's a really simple test. You take the little spring loaded lance device and you push it against your finger and then bleed on the card...

The last time I had to do this I had such a bad panic attack that eventually I had to get G to do it for me (the pricking not the bleeding obviously). This time I managed to get as far as pushing it until it almost popped but kept stopping short. I tried whilst G was on a video call so I would have to remain calm but that didn't work. In the end I psyched myself up, put on some Rage Against The Machine and just went for it. Given how much I had to squeeze to get any blood out, it wouldn't stop pouring after the test was done!
