Diary of an Edinburgher

Definitely the last! (Day 50)

Robert’s day for Archie walkies (Extra) And quite a nice day it was too, though by the time they came back, just after midday, sitting out in the front garden was slightly chilly, as the sun had moved round and we were mostly in shade.

JR did her fitness exercises. She then made a banana cake, which was still warm when Robert came back from his walk. Yum yum.

We took a dander down to the Meadows in the afternoon. Archie obligingly sat in the sparse blossom while JR threw petals at him. I was lured over to the caravan which sells coffee and takeaways, but the long queue proved to be less tempting than the coffee and fresh banana cake available for free at home.

The others went a bit further, while I came home. They met Trixie and her mum. I popped in (just to the gate) to see my pal who is just back from hospital. She’s starting her cancer treatment next week, but she has her grown up children to look after her.

I think it’s going to be really warm tomorrow, though our Aussie friend might think 18° is still a bit chilly...
