Lovely Adora

This afternoon we took Ivy to meet her Auntie Adora who lives in the next village.  Some of you may recognise Adora who has come to stay with us a few times.  She is the sweetest dog and it was lovely to see them meet and we humans felt that the dogs could actually feel a family bond.  Adora's sister Tricks is Ivy's mother!

We had a nice, socially distant short walk around the woods while Adora and Ivy trotted along happily together and, as you can see, did not always keep the stipulated two metres apart!  Ivy wanted to play the whole time so occasionally Adora had to put her in her place and tell her who was boss!  Sweet to watch and Ivy has been sleeping off the excitement since we got back.  The other excitement for her was finding a hedgehog in the garden last night!  In fact there were two of them which was great to see.  Ivy was very puzzled by them but kept a good distance away.
