Quackers
We had to go to the bank today so took the opportunity to walk round the Heath lake as our daily exercise. It was very quiet there, although there was a family feeding some very large pieces of bread to the birds, which was causing some massive fights among the gulls particularly. There were fewer birds than usual - although a LOT of Egyptian geese - which may reflect them being given a lot less food overall by humans at the moment. If we go again, I'll make sure we take some birdseed for them. Anyway, I can report that there was also one swan on a nest, a pair of grebes gliding around, and some very cute little ducklings.
