Damera Peltata

.... or umbrella plant.

I love the way this plant comes up every spring with these dainty flowers on a tall stem. Eventually they die down and the leaves come up and by the summer the area will be covered in really large leaves. A bit like a Gunnera but not nearly so large.

The flowers are quite small, about 1.5 cms from the tip of one petal to the tip of one on the opposite side. I'm hoping they qualify for Tiny Tuesday.
