Day 41 - Autumn leaves and washing line
Ooh - it was certainly a bit cooler today - I even contemplated actually lighting the fire but was able to resist that one on the belief that the sun will return with some late autumn warmth again tomorrow. As you can see, by this afternoon the grey skies had dispersed sufficiently to allow a handful of golden rays into the garden where they did a great job illuminating the gorgeous autumn grapevine colours.
In COVID news today - another whoop-whoop day with the second day of zero new cases. I'm cautiously dreaming of what might be on my agenda when we're eventually allowed a bit more freedom. Jacinda has also been chatting with ScoMo.....Australia's PM Scott Morrison, about the feasibility of a Trans Tasman Bubble to allow some trade and travel between the two countries when - and only when - both countries are sure they've contained and controlled the virus. Positive signs of a re-emergence, but as we've been reminded often, we're not out of the wood yet.
