Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2020 Sunday — Neighbor’s Flowers

This blooming tree is actually just over our back yard fence in the neighbor’s yard. We had a tree just like this in our big house that we moved out of just about 2 years ago.

“Brugmansia is a genus of seven species of flowering plants in the family Solanaceae. They are woody trees or shrubs, with pendulous flowers, and have no spines on their fruit. Their large, fragrant flowers give them their common name of angel's trumpets, a name sometimes used for the closely related genus Datura.” that’s from Wikipedia.

It’s a beautiful tree. We see it from our bedroom window. Our weather is turning rather hot this week, and I don’t think the flowers are going to do well in the heat.

On another note, today we returned to the T-Mobile Store for the third day in a row. We are attempting to workout some of the snags of switching from ATT to T-Mobile for cell service. Mr. Fun also purchased a new iPhone SE and we also got an external hotspot. The reason we wanted the hotspot is because we do not have Internet at our SoCal house nor at our retirement house on California’s Central Coast and we need it if we want to use our laptops.

And for dinner this evening I resorted to making macaroni & cheese — not very exciting. The toughest decision every day is “What should I make for dinner tonight?” I can say with certainty that the kitchen is not my favorite room in the house.

Good night from Southern California,
