Thanks to all
I walked down to the dock earlier this morning because we had rain forecast for later. None so far. There was a guy coming out of the Rock Salt with a coffee, and he told me that the cafe will be reopening for take out. That's good news. We had a short chat. His delivery truck was the only one in the ferry line up because he'd just missed the last ferry by 10 minutes. He works for the Old Victoria Water Company and delivers big jugs of water to one of the grocery stores in town. He said that lots of people are buying water lately. I thanked him for continuing to work, and we told each other to stay safe. I took a photo of the company's penguin logo and added it as an extra.
I walked through the site of the old Fulford Inn and took a couple of photos of blossoms on the trees. They're beautiful, but I have no idea what they are. If anyone can identify them from the other 2 extras, I'd like to know.
I then decided to walk up to the local community hall to take a photo of the sign thanking all the front line workers and in solidarity with Nova Scotia. I had seen the sign last week when I went to town. I was getting ready to take a second photo when I noticed arms waving and a woman called out to ask me if I wanted her to move so I could get the whole building! I was so focused on the sign that I hadn't even seen her and had no idea she was in the photo. I thanked her but said it was okay because I was going to zoom in on the sign. She said she'd been thinking of taking a photo herself. I decided to use this one because it's better than the zoomed in one.
Did a few things in the garden and weeded part of the rock border around the house. There seem to be far more weeds this year! And oh - there was frost this morning!
