Coconutty

After a drizzly start it turned out to be a beautiful day, a little colder than lately.

I did my favourite walk up over Corstorphine Hill, through Ravelston, to the modern art gallery grounds, to the Water of Leith, Murrayfield then home. I haven’t done that one for a while as I wasn’t sure if the gate from the gallery down to the Water of Leith was open. Chanced it today and it was open, happy.

The gorse on Corstorphine Hill smells lovely - coconutty! Then the scent of wild garlic by the river ... a great day to be out. Don’t know how I’d cope with a full lockdown as in some other countries ... these walks and appreciation of nature are so important to me.
