Another shaky long lens effort to illustrate the apparent improved visibility from the moor at the moment.

Eggborough Power Station is one of three that sit on the skyline out to the east, seen here at about thirty miles distant looking over the top of Leeds. What struck me this evening is that I can see stuff (through binoculars but admittedly only faint smudges on this picture) well beyond Eggborough, including wind turbines and various industrial structures. I haven't quite got my angles lined up, but this would most likely be Scunthorpe, or possibly Goole, which are more like forty to fifty miles distant.
