Friday

For the last couple of weeks we have been teetotal from Monday to Thursday, which has brought a new frisson to Fridays. Still, the prospect of a fully charged beer didn't stop Dan and I from going out for our daily walk after work. 

Today's route, walking up the A65, would be both unpleasant and dangerous at this time on a Friday under normal, non-covid conditions but, as you can see, the road was quiet enough to be safe and for the walk to be enjoyable. 

We grabbed a coffee at the petrol station, walked up around High Biggins and Lonsdale Hall, and then back home through Low Biggins for a beer!
