We meet again

The Helios hotel! Nice to see it again, with a perfect background of fluffy clouds. Of course it is completely empty at the moment. Snapped on our morning walk; the light wasn't as lovely this time, and there was only one canoeist out on the water. One good thing about getting out early(ish) is breakfast on the terrace when we get back. Pan con tomate and Danish pastries this time.

I made pizza for lunch, now that we have flour and yeast in abundance. S made another of his signature dishes, loosely based on a tapa we had in El Templo in Almuñecar. I finally took a halfway decent photo of it, so it's now on my blog. Mangoes are out of season here really, but this one wasn't bad.

We decided to skip the evening walk because we anticipated crowds again, and instead sat on the terrace for an evening apero. We'll watch a film shortly, part of the Barcelona D'A film festival  which is now happening on FilmIn instead of physically. We watched the opening offering, Chambre 212, the other night. It was very French, in all the wrong ways. One of those films that really fancies itself as being "innovative" but will be forgotten in a couple of years. But although I found it quite annoying it had its moments, in the tradition of Bertrand Blier and Alain Resnais, so I did watch it to the end. Tonight will be a Canadian comedy.
