Thinking about Up Helly Aa

Would have been great to be up on Shetland for Up Helly Aa today - but it wasn't to be, and I gather that the weather has been pretty bleak this evening too.

If you've never heard of Up Helly Aa, it's a Viking fire festival - there are a few pictures on flickr I've taken in the past. If you ever get the chance to be on Shetland for one of the several Up Helly Aa's that happen around the islands each year, grab it with both hands.
