Yuk there was just enough rain to make this morning's cycle ride a little miserable. Still it was nice to get a wave and a cheery good morning from Double Dog. There was hardly anyone else about as I only saw four cars. The least I've ever seen on one of my early morning rides. As usual the two other cyclists ignored my cheery good morning as they rode by looking glum.
Since Rachel gave me half a dozen eggs for repairing her bicycle's puncture I have a boiled egg for breakfast on a Sunday. Now known affectionately as eggy Sunday. I am in what seems the endless search of the perfect boiled egg with a hard white and a just right runny yoke. It sounds a simple task but there are so many variations of methods to heat and time. Just take a look on Google. I shall continue with my quest until I get it right. In the meantime whatever the result the egg tastes good with a piece of toast and a couple slices of smoked salmon.
Fortunately by ten o'clock the rain had subsided and I was able to get on with the greenhouse. With all that glass around I'd got the feeling that it was only a matter of time before I broke a pane or two and today I broke the first one with my shoulder as I tried to turn a screw home on the racking in a confined space. Still never mind the first rack is now completely finished and the second smaller rack is well on the way. My app told me today that while building the greenhouse racking I'd walked 1.1 miles at a speed of 2.9 miles an hour climbed 25 feet. and fallen 25 feet.
Early evening we had what is becoming our usual Sunday evening family Skype with Ashley  Hayden Astra and the Grandchildren. Nevan and Ari always take centre stage and keep us amused with their antics. After they left I tried to help Ashley stop the leaking kitchen tap in his flat in Brixton. It's difficult task to try and help from distance of over a hundred miles but we may have come up with a solution but he will have to wait and see if it's permanent fix.
We celebrated Prosecco Sunday as we did for Prosecco Saturday with a bottle of Prosecco and a few nibbly bits. Hmmm it's a good job the warders turn a blind eye or we may have our sentence extended.
This weeks summary of our imprisonment is the same as last. No problems I am still enjoying it as is Ros. Although it's harder to enjoy when the weather is bad but having said that the same rings true even if we weren't imprisoned. I just hate wet miserable days. I've still got loads I want to get done so I'm looking foward to next week and hope that the topcoat paint arrives so I can continue work on the Bentley.
