King of the Road

Up and at it today........laundry done, beds done before our visitor for elevenses arrived, daughter called, we sat outside at a distance (see extra) had coffee, and before we knew it 2 hours had passed & she headed back.

We had a delivery for lunch from Reds, our once a week treat :-)

I spent most of the afternoon clearing out stuff to go to the tip.....the garage is in real need of some attention :-/ I moved a load of furniture around, not ours, being stored for the kids (!) probably to be thrown but I need to check first......ended up with a big pile to be recycled......a job for another day! Swept the floor......sooo dusty, I was filthy, but a satisfying afternoons work.

I put a turkey crown in the oven for dinner tonight, then sat and chilled for a little while whilst hub watched the daily update.

We went for a walk afterwards by which time it had clouded up a little but still nice enough.
Id spotted this disused trailer on one of our earlier walks and banked it for Derelict Sunday :-)

We enjoyed our roadt turkey dinner......before settling down to watch tv....last ever Homeland tonight :-( we have followed it from Day 1, theres been a fabulous 8 series and we've enjoyed every one!
