Lochend Park

It was church via facebook this morning and then a chat with friends on Skype afterwards. This afternoon I decided to walk to Lochend park. I've only been here once before, despite living quite close by. I'm not sure why I've not been more often because it's a really interesting park with plenty of bird life on and around the loch and a really interesting history. There's even a 16th century doocot! On the loch I saw Canada geese, greylag geese, mallards (and some duckings), coots and moorhen, so a successful bird watching trip and a very nice walk. I'll definitely come back.
