Surface Tension

Continuing the theme of gardening (by a friend ;-)), here is one of her cacti.  It almost always has its supply of water showing, looking picturesque and only a little prickly. 

If only we could all be picturesque and not too prickly . . .

[edit: it’s a succulent, but that fact spoils the story so I’ll ignore it. ]
