Take Me To Church

As it's Sunday I thought a place of worship would be an appropriate blip. The local Baptist Church opened in 1909, but like all churches in Scotland is closed due to the pandemic, although I heard churches in Germany are reopening for the first time today, albeit under restrictions.

My album of the day is "Whatever" by American singer-songwriter Aimee Mann, formerly with 'Til Tuesday. First came across her on The Word, a late night music show on Channel 4. Favourite track by a mile "I Should've Known". Saw her live in 2008 at The Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow.

On this day gigs are the same as yesterday, as Slade played same dates at my venue over two consecutive years, 1974 and 1975.
