Football!

You wouldn’t believe the number of people who are out in the oak meadows these days - walking, cycling and running and dogs everywhere, walking their humans. We’ve never seen anything like it. Mum says if we want to go to one of the bird lakes, we have to do it on a weekday, and even then, it’s bound to be busier than ever before. But people are very good generally about social distancing. 

There was even a football match going on in the nearby football field. Mum said the players looked around fifteen years old. Football practice and matches are allowed for children and young people up to 18 as long as no more than 50 people are in or around the field, so very few parents watching. We did watch from afar, which I assume is ok. 

We are very sad today because our best friend Heidi lost one of her dearest friends to Covid-19.
