Day 6 of Level 3 Lockdown.

Day 6 of Level 3 lockdown. It was disappointing to hear of people breaking the rules, hosting parties, for God’s sake! And other misdemeanors. Some people are dumb. It would be such a nuisance if Alert Level 3 had to be extended because people’s foolishness led to an upsurge in Covid-19 infections.
We have some lovely rain in the early hours and later this morning. Maisie and I were walking just after 7.am ..... in the rain which was heavy at times. I wore an old orange Storm coat, gumboots and a big umbrella. Some footpaths were awash with rain water. Back at home Keith got the fire going. Not that it was very cold but the fire made everyone feel cozy. Especially Myrtle, lying on her back in Maisie’s fireside bed. It’s a cat’s life!
