Day Thirty-nine, In a tropical downpour

From early this morning the rain came down. Heavy rain. Big drops. Wind blowing water over the whole of the deck. Late this afternoon, it eased enough for me to go out with the small Canon. Little rain in the first five minutes or so, and then "the heavens opened"  as the saying goes. Half an hour was long enough. The rate the water was coming out of this downpipe, I was not surprised to see surface water on many of the roads I passed.

Later a lovely long zoom meeting with daughters (and Mr H for part of the time)
