Quincelicious!

At last we have our hands on some quince!

The last two Octobers, it has become a tradition to make quince jelly from quinces I have been given or bought whilst in France during October half term. Since last October I have been regretting not buying more than I did and have been trying to source quinces in the UK but without success.
Finally, I located an online Turkish supermarket that sold quince and ordered 2kg. They arrived today!
I can't wait for the weekend to come so I can get stuck into making quince jelly.
If you have never been up close and personal with a quince, they smell absolutely delicious and so fragrant. The fruit is dry and inedible raw but once cooked it turns an amazing ruby colour. The taste is to die for.
