Meet and Greet

This morning started with a 'meet and greet' situation with Tilly our westie who decided a good ploy would be to eat our bills once she had met the postman. Good one -but if only it worked like that!!

We had a bit of a 'meet and greet' going on here too. It was starting to drop dark and the swans began to come into Slimbridge Wildlife and Wetlands Centre for the food put out in the evening. The raucous racket of the flocks of ducks, geese and swans homing in on the lake was quite exciting to listen to and they too were obviously very excited to see each other. The swans especially when they saw their friends fly in started talking and posturing to each other all chatting away at once. Long necks and wings all out, very amusing to watch!!
