Gently down the stream

Bengal

I love being in town early at this time of year, and particularly at this moment, because the place belongs to the cats and the pigeons (and the peregrines nesting on the cathedral roof).  There are no people at all.

I found this lovely Bengal cat sitting on one of the posh - but disintegrating - tables outside Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's eaterie in Abbey Gardens.  They really are incredibly beautiful animals, aren't they?

Apart from that it's been a quiet day.  Lunch in the garden, which was sunny but rather cold, a small bit of things that needed doing and quite a lot of reading.  Peaceful.

Thanks for all the generous hearts and stars on yesterday's - and I hope the weekend's being kind to you  xx
