bread
I’ve never had much success with bread and I now think it was all about the prove. Here’s my first attempt at a crusty boule. I am thoroughly delighted with the process - such a satisfying thing to do. I’m thinking I’m aiming for a slightly looser crumb but it does spring back when pressed so can’t be far off.
My other task today was Ant’s hair. Not my best work but he’s forgiving!
Gratefuls:
1. My current read - Holy Noticing;
2. A bargain packet of yeast which I was able to share with my brother in law as it’s BIG;
3. Internet recipes.
