Helpful Big Brother

Alex is helping Kate do her homework and doing a really good job too.
I tried to help but she wouldn't listen to my reasoning, so Alex stepped in and took over.
She's done her maths and now he's got her doing her literacy.

If only he'd do his home homework with no fussing. Although his teacher did pull me over to say she was impressed he'd done all his homework and handed it on time this week. That's cos he's been staying for homework club. Doing it in a school setting works for Alex he can't get his head round the fact he's been at school all day doing school work, why should he do more when he gets home. That's Aspergers for you.

He even read his school reading book at the weekend. I was in bed and overheard him and Kate talking as they set up a reading group and brought a pile of cuddly toys down and read to them. Apparently reading club will happen every Saturday & Sunday. They also played chess, that was games club which will happen Sundays and although this all happened on a Sunday morning they made plans for film club which will take place on Saturdays and they will watch then discuss dvd's.

I wonder if they will remember come the weekend :-)
