Same Waters Twice
Tis true. One cannot step in the same waters twice.
I went to visit an old photo hunting ground this morning. Back when I used to make this trip almost daily, I rarely saw other people. If I did, they were usually putting their boats in the water and leaving. Today it was not like that. It was fisherman central. It seems Vermont has stocked this lake and now the mornings are filled with trout fisherman who smoke and do not social distance. One tried to show me his phone so I could see his near 10 pound catch. Back off, buddy!
I prefer being at home. I work at home. I have 10 acres in rural Vermont and have plenty to keep me busy here including morning photos in the dew and light. I don't have to worry about Covid in the air here or people who don't get what 6 feet apart means.
I also forgot lens I like for these sorts of photos. The fishing rods belong to one smoking fisherman - the one with the camera and the 10 pound fish.
So a wee walk down Memory Lane. It was a one way trip.
Onward.
