Day 49: Into The Great Wide Open

Well, I did manage to get out and back by10 this morning.

It was quite exhilarating actually, being allowed out of my flat into the fresh air for the first time in seven weeks.

I went slowly up the hill to the first roundabout and back, a journey of roughly 2 km. Enough for my hips, which have not been good recently from lack of exercise.

Hardly anyone about, though. A couple of other walkers and two cyclists, we greeted each other like survivors of a nuclear war, emerging from our bunkers to see what the world was now like. 

And it was hot already. That was a bit of a shock too, not having been able to experience direct sunlight for any length of time. 

Last night's quiz seemed to be quite successful, the tech worked pretty well and the four teams finished within a few points of each other.

Someone else's turn for next week.

I might get some work done now.
