A Pair of Feel Betters

In the background is the lively quilt my friend made to cheer me up, and the bouquet is from my son, who had the same intent.  I am well solaced.The white flowers are Asian lilies, insanely fragrant blossoms that can perfume an entire room. I figured out that the brown spots on the petals aren’t signs of age, but evidence that the flowers had been wrapped so tightly together that the pollen tinted everything.

These times are so strange. That’s about all I can come up with tonight. Stay safe.
