Stormy sky through office window

It's 4.30pm in Glasgow city-centre, and in wintry dark nights, it's lights on time. It's been raining most of the day and the wind's been pretty strong. As thoughts turn to home time, the walk to train station is a tad less than appealing.

And then it appears, a sunset like a movie, a line in the sky to divide the light and dark, the beauty and the beastly evening. The movie referencing turns to storm, typhoon, hurricane. The sky has 'impending doom' scrawled all over. It's Glasgow though ladies and gentlemen, and it's winter. Same as it ever was. We might not deal in tropical temperatures and balmy evenings, but we do a nice line in foreboding skies. And I have an office window to see it all from.
