Gulls trying to take off

These Gulls were sheltering on the boating lake in Llandudno

The old ones had the sense to stay on the water or just stand around on the grass while the winds was so strong - but some of the younger ones kept trying to take off into the wind and normally just getting blown backwards or just plain failing!
