Turning tide

Took a longer walk today to the far side of the 4th barrier beach. Weather had turned a bit colder and overcast but the upside was the fast changing light as the sun broke through every now and again to light up patches on land and sea.

Lots of little wading birds poking around in the weed left by the high tide, ringed plovers, bigger type of plover but I’m not sure exactly what, purple sandpipers, the ever present oystercatchers and gulls. Also a raven being mobbed by various small birds and a hooded crow.
