Peace

For my family, today is a day of grieving the loss of my uncle. Although COVID 19 did not take him, it is taking the physical closeness and the hugging away from his family today. It is threatening to take what we have known as normal completely away, and I pray for peace. But I also pray that there will be a fight back against the fear and against the isolation. That we will not decide that this is a better way. So we will wake up and take risk again, and love well, and be present for one another.

That’s why I came back to blip. To fight back. To remain close. To finally celebrate more milestones. Thank you for showing up.
