Red Cabbage

I was spurred on by Aliscotia to try some macro photography so I dug out the 105 and the text book she and Robin had given me some time ago. Also I had been admiring the resprouting pictures by Pod2008 recently. As it was raining I had no excuse so I had a go.

I have been fascinated by the sprouting red cabbage in the fridge and wondered what lurked beneath the surface. Perhaps it will eat me in the night. So if I'm not here tomorrow you'll know what happened.

Here is my laughably amateurish effort to emulate all those skilled macro and food photographers out there. You have nothing to fear from me.

I've added an extra of it in mono. I think I prefer the colour.
