Back on its own feet

An additional wrenching night this week, hurray!

Managed to finalise the now heavily modified subframe (see extra, a photo taken by my brother of me welding a support bracket to the frame) and install the new shocks, so the bike is not longer supported by wooden blocks. It’s supporting its own weight.

The rear bodywork is next up, I have already roughly shortened it and positioned it in the correct angle, but it will need a lot of work, including a new seat base, before it can be mounted.
