The Light

A busy day in which I managed to do some work plant my tomatoes out into the polytunnel, clean out the hens and pay a visit to the farm supplier for hen food and bedding. They were very well organised as I phoned my order in, drove to their gate and they loaded it into my boot. I bought wood shavings for the houses for the first time as I usually bed them on shredded paper from the offices but I have run out.

I went for a walk down to the front to take some photos of the rats and although I saw them I did not get a clear image so I ended up with the lighthouse. Maybe that's better than the rats.

Hens bedtime soon and the old hens will not let the new ones go to bed so will still have a battleground. Now off to clap for the carers before I miss it again.
