Shopping day

Fishvan delivered some lemon sole, salmon, haddock and asparagus this morning. I nipped down to the post office in Colintraive and took the opportunity to get a few more things from the small shop run by the hotel - milk from Gigha, new potatoes and fresh brocolli. Another delivery due tomorrow with venison & more veg which means I don't need to do a shop in Dunoon. Enjoying being able to shop for local ingredients, supporting local producers and I hope that some of this will continue once we're in less restrictive times. We're definitely eating fresher and healthier but I made some empire biscuits today just to balance things up.
