Stick man

The girls painted tshirts this morning using fabric paints and a plain tshirts each that I had ordered from ebay. They enjoyed it to begin with but it ended in tears for stupid reasons and I ended up shouting :(

Meanwhile preschool sent out a craft suggestion to make a stick man picture from sticks and bits collected on a walk, so we put wellies on and went out to gather some items. That improved the mood a bit.

After lunch I went to Tesco click and collect to get shopping. It was mildly stressful as I had ordered shopping for myself and two vunerable neighbours and so had to sort it into separate bags and deliver it whilst worrying about unknowingly passing on germs. Bea also announced as I at the pick up point and loading the car that she needed a wee... She couldnt hold it and ended up having an accident in the carseat. I stripped her down and wrapped her in a dry blanket for the journey home.

Back at home and we made out stick man picture on the lid of an old cardboard archive box. I&B worked well together making a joint picture and enjoyed the sticking. We used a LOT of PVA glue! We just need to add eyes and the sun tomorrow.

John came home from work with news that a colleague in his team has gone home with a high temperature. I hope he is OK and it isn't corona and I hope John hasn't been exposed.
