Old Friend

After weeks of being ill, the GP decided it was time for me to have some tests. It was comforting that the person who did most of my tests happened to be a very old friend who I’ve known for 25 years.

We don’t see each other really now other than on Facebook - but even behind the mask, his friendly lovely face made it all a lot less scary.

All tests came back fine - so it’s just waiting to recover now, but a relief to know no damage to my heart or lungs.
