"Anyone for a walk ... or chocolate"

Dad setting off for his morning walk, he's so glad that the snows gone, think his route is Old Glossop, through Manor Park and then home. Mums plans are very different, we talk about the days when we were young and the many hours we spent in Manor Park as we were growing up. This morning we are being accompanied by a cd of Jose Carreras. Mum and dad both love all kinds of music, classical, opera, and easy listening. This morning we reminisced about the many Rod Stewart concerts we've been to. Every now and then mum joins in with a hum or a few words and smiles. Dementia is a cruel condition, mum has Dementia with Lewy Bodies, but her smile lights up a room, especially when she sees dad...or a bar of chocolate
