Day 46: Temptation

The sun was out and it was really quite hot today.

I walked down to the rubbish bins and on the way back, took a turn past the pool.

It looked rather inviting, although I expect it is very cold still.

But it made me wonder. We have been told that Spain may start the first of four phases of restriction lifting over the next few months.

We hope it will start this weekend with adults being allowed out for an hour to get some fresh air.

But we are not expecting to reach the "new normality" until the end of June. And this new normality is not normal at all. But it will become so. Social distancing will still have to be adhered to for many months after this time.

And so I was wondering whether I will actually be able to use the pool this summer.

Probably not.
