With wet weather forecast for the afternoon I took a morning walk to the 'Airplane Roundabout' in Grove.

After World War II Grove became the home base of No 3 Maintenance Unit that supplied and serviced the 2nd Tactical Air Force in West Germany in the 1950's. 

This plane is understood to be an ex-Swiss air force DH-112 Venom FB.54 (G-BLSD ∕ J-1758) painted in RAF markings.
