Lockdown Marmalade

Today I offered up a prayer to Nuestra Senora de la Mermelada and made marmalade. It worked. I made GF rhubarb tart, and mincemeat tartlets, and marmalade tartlets too. The pastry was overworked.

I also received a communication from my school, which freaked me out because I thought that my annual pay rise for 2020/21 was £0.72! Hmm, that would be 6 new pence per month. A quick phone call sorted that one out.

Most of today has been spent in the kitchen. It feels good to get out of there.
